Inner-active not working

Jan 25, 2014 at 5:48 PM
I' very confused.
If I download the source and samples and run the Inner-active seems to work.
(messages: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows Phone OS 7.5; Trident/5.0; IEMobile/9.0; NOKIA; Lumia 925)
when the log shows INNERACTIVE as ad provider)

If I add the Ad Rotator to my project via nuget I get a lot of these errors:

A first chance exception of type 'System.ArgumentNullException' occurred in System.Windows.ni.dll

And I have a Null error in the invalidate method

I tried to change the Reference to the latest Inner-active SDK, to the same library used from the sample but no result.

Can anyone help me?

Download the latest Inneractive provider DLL and test using that.

I' using:
Windows Phone 7

Version: 1.1.2

Date: 2/12/2013

(just re downloaded to be sure!)

I'm very confused as I REMOVED inneractive from the project references and the application works anyway :(

Also in the log I got:
AdControl : Ads being requested for: MobFox
A first chance exception of type 'System.ArgumentNullException' occurred in System.Windows.ni.dll
An exception of type 'System.ArgumentNullException' occurred in System.Windows.ni.dll and wasn't handled before a managed/native boundary
adControl: ERROR on Invalidate

Last one is my check on the Try catch in the invalidate.

I am very confused!

I did also a Clean solution + build and during build this file get copied: Inneractive.Nokia.Ad.dll
but I have no idea why as is NOT in the References of the solution or project

Additional info:
after the clean the copies of the file are found under:
my app\packages\AdRotatorWP.1.0.3\lib\sl4-wp71

How can I replace them?

(also I'm very confused why the source+sample appear to work while I have the issues with nuget package)

To add more confusion to myself I created an empty project (app), added the nuget package, added the AdRotatorControl and a Button to force the Invalidate, used your config file...

and it works:
AdRotatorControl : Ads being requested for: InnerActive
'TaskHost.exe' (Managed): Loaded '\Applications\Install\B3E762B5-07F9-485F-9438-1D6723F6EDC8\Install\Inneractive.Nokia.Ad.dll'
AdRotatorControl : InnerActive Success:
AdRotatorControl : Ads being successfully served for: InnerActive
The program '[249495822] TaskHost.exe: Managed' has exited with code 0 (0x0).

even with my own config file:
AdRotatorControl : Ads being requested for: InnerActive
'TaskHost.exe' (Managed): Loaded '\Applications\Install\B3E762B5-07F9-485F-9438-1D6723F6EDC8\Install\Inneractive.Nokia.Ad.dll'

Why in the complete app is not working? any possible help?

Simple sample app works:
dRotatorControl : InnerActive Success:
AdRotatorControl : Ads being successfully served for: InnerActive

It's driving me nuts!

TO replace the DLL, simply place it somewhere in/near your project (I usually create a folder called 3rd Party), then remove the reference to the existing inneractive control and then replace it with a new reference to the new dll.
