Can I set up some InneractiveAd parameters, such as "ReloadTime" and "AdType (Interstitial)"? In Documentation I found "InneractiveReloadTime" property but it is missed in DLL. Need Help.
I use v0.5 XNA.
Maybe AdRotator v2 can help me?

Oh, wait. You shared source code. It mean I can change it, add some features and use it? Am I right? If so, I am genius.

At present in V1 we only support the additional parameters in Inneractive for:
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Keywords
In V2 since it still at the beginning of it's journey does not have these at present.

ReloadTime is a bit redundant as we take control of that through AdRotator as for AdType, this is something we are looking into for V2. Currently both versions only support Banner Ads.

Could you give us a bit more detail of your implementation so as to better guide how we improve V2 to meet your aims?

Lol, only just read the last comment.
Yes all AdRotator code is open source so feel free to update it yourself, you can even FORK our V2 project since it's now using GIT and submit a patch

We develop XNA game on WP7 as it will be supported by WP8 too. Banner need to be centered for resolutions that are higher than native 480x800. Refresh: 30 seconds. We uses location detection for better results. We want to try interstitial banner size (320 x 480).

Well then I would ask that you read the documentation MORE CLOSELY, especially the HOME PAGE

Supported ad providers for both Silverlight and XNA:

Microsoft PubCenter
AdDuplex
Google AdMob
Inner-Active / Nokia Ad Exchange
MobFox
Smaato (Not for Non Location aware projects, see above link)
Default House Ads - A project based Ad the developer implements (docs pending)
Support for no ad display
Both Location Aware and Non Location Aware libs now available

By the Way, FYI, Codeplex EMAILS original discussions

If you choose not to use the control that's fine by us.
If you choose to use the control then we will help where we can.

Just do't insult us if you feel it's not a good fit

No, no insulting in no case. I am really sorry, it’s my bad English fault.

I am not a specialist in advertising, so I can only transmit by boss’s experience. And he had a bad experience with Smaato. I thought you need a feedback about providers, which you support, because it directly affects on popularity of Ad Rotator. But then I decided you better know which providers to support and don’t need this feedback, so I deleted it.

I will repeat: Ad Rotator is very nice open-source product, and all that critics was about ad providers, not you. I think it a very good fit for us, especially on WP, but my boss decides what to use.

Personally, I really want to take part in open-source development on C#, but I think I have too poor skills for it and my time is very restricted now. I am sorry.

Peace. And Good Luck with your project. I think when you will add well defined plug-in model for new providers and some marketing to the product it will be very successful.

I agree with your notice about XNA support. My boss maybe is an inattentive reader and I was too tired to observe it. But now I see that for Ad Rotator no matter which platform support Ad Provider, it download a banner and show it such a simple texture. It is nice, I like it. Now I understand how it works, and may be my boss will change decision.

Ok thank you for the clarification and apologies for my over reaction, I understand your reactions were to the ad providers and not ad rotator itself

Feel free to use the web code if you prefer, adrotator is open source and if you want to reusenparts of the code that's fine but we`ll only suport the full controls use of course

And yes fuly unerstand when languge translation is an issue
